Gilford-----David T. Howe 76, of Lake Shore Road died Saturday, November 4, 2017 at his home with his loving wife by his side.
David was born November 1, 1941 in Norwood, Massachusetts son to the late Francis and Gladys (Kershaw) Howe. He lived most of his life in Alton and Gilford. David served in the United States Navy as a corpsman from 1960 -1964. He worked for Huggins Hospital as surgical technician and later worked in construction .
David was more comfortable in nature. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, walking, skiing, gardening and loved the land.
David is survived by his loving wife, Susan M. (McClaine) Howe of Gilford; two nephews, Mark and David; two nieces, Deborah and Louise; eight great nieces and nephews and many special cousins. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his sister and brother-in-law.
There will be no calling hours.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 13, 2017 at 11:00am at the Gilford Community Church, 19 Potter Hill road, Gilford, NH.
Burial will follow in the family lot at Pine Grove Cemetery, Gilford.
