Janet Willingham, 77, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Monday, October 17, 2005 at Dorminy Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Tuesday, October 18, 2005, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel, Fitzgerald, with Larry Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 7 until 9, Monday evening at the funeral home.
A loving and caring lady, she was born February 22, 1928, in Ben Hill County, Georgia to the late Milton V. and Maude Horton Willingham. She lived in the community most of her life, graduating from Fitzgerald High School in 1945. Miss Willingham retired from WBHB Radio Station, having worked in sales, as the bookkeeper, manager and co-owner. She was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses.
She is survived by a brother-in-law: Larry Swords of Broken Arrow, OK; nieces: Linda Zinnecker of Broken Arrow, OK and Janice Swords of Fitzgerald; nephew: Tommy McBryant of Chattanooga, TN; several cousins, including: Bettie White and Mary Smith, both of Fitzgerald.
