Mr. Herbert Fillds, 82, of Berlin, NH passed away on Friday afternoon October 14, 2005 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin. He was born in Swanton, VT on January 16, 1923 the son of Herbert Fillds and Florence (Lampman) Fillds. He lived in Vermont, prior to moving to Colebrook, NH and then to Errol, NH where he resided for many years prior to moving to Berlin. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed at Tillotson Rubber Co. in Dixville Notch and Bancroft Construction Co. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Randolph, NH.
Members of the family include 3 daughters Sheree Metcalf of Rhode Island, Joanne Fillds and Audrey Couture, both of Berlin, NH; 4 sons Herbert Fillds Jr. of Rumford, ME, Roger Fillds of Dover, NH, Robert Fillds of North Stratford, NH and Richard Fillds of Berlin, NH; several grandchildren including Sheree Fillds.
