Belmont------Emily Rollins, 83, of North Brook Road died Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Belknap County Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family.
Emily was born July 26, 1934 in Webster, Massachusetts daughter to the late Francis and Emily (Bonnett) Sirrell. She worked at the Pitman Hosiery Mill in Laconia and later moved to Lawrence, MA with her husband where she began work at the Boston Globe in circulation for 20 years. Following her retirement she moved back to the Lakes Region with her husband, Henry.
Emily enjoyed country music, animals and dancing. Above all being with her family was most important to her.
Emily is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Henry Rollins of Belmont; 5 sons, Dave Rollins and his fiancée Paula Pare Hogan of Gilmanton, Richard Rollins and his significant other, Diane Carpenter of Pembroke, Larry Rollins and his wife, Laurie of Danville, Rodney Rollins and his wife, Crystal of Derry and Alfred Mitchell and his wife, Marjo of Laconia; a daughter, Brenda Joszko and her husband, Greg of Northfield; 18 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her 12 siblings.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 6:00- 8:00pm at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH using the Carriage House entrance.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 27, 2017 at 11:00am also at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the family lot at Green Grove Cemetery, Ashland, NH.
