Marion L. (Weaver) Surprenant, 81, of New Bedford died Friday October 14, 2005 at Sacred Heart Home after a long illness. She was the wife of Conrad R. Surprenant of North Hutchinson Island, Fla. and Rochester, Mass.
Born in Saugus, the daughter of the late George and Viola Weaver, she lived in North Reading and Wakefield for many years before moving to Wareham. She had resided at Sacred Heart Home for many years.
Mrs. Surprenant was formerly employed as a second grade teacher in Wakefield.
She was a graduate of Salem State Teachers College. She was an accomplished artist.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Alan G. Surprenant of Ashfield; and two grandchildren, Micah and Willow.
She was the sister of the late Robert Weaver.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Monday October 17, 2005 at 12 Noon in the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home for Funerals, 50 County Rd. (Rt. 6), Mattapoisett. Her family will receive visitors from 10AM-12 Noon, prior to the service. Burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery will be private.
