Virginia A. (Medeiros) Pezza 95 of Natick died Saturday October 21, 2017 at the Mary Ann Morse Nursing Home in Natick, Massachusetts. She was the beloved wife of the late Emilio M. “Red” Pezza who died in 2003.
Born in Framingham she was the daughter of the late Emanuel and Adelina (Rocha) Medeiros.
Mrs. Pezza formerly worked as a seamstress for D & F Manufacturing in Framingham. She was an avid card player and enjoyed cooking both Italian and Portuguese specialties lovingly prepared for her family.
She is survived by one daughter Carol Leach and her husband Richard of Millis, one son Peter Pezza and his wife Betty of Milford, six grandchildren, Jason, Michael and Richard Leach, Keith and Bryan Herrick, and Gary Pezza, 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Manual and Christopher Medeiros, Mamie Petruzillo , and Georgina Suarez.
Visitation for relatives and friends is scheduled for Thursday, October 26 beginning at 11:30 A.M at the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, at the Natick Common. Her Funeral service will then commence at 12:30 P.M. in the Chapel of the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the St Patrick Cemetery in Natick .
