
Laconia----Patricia "Pat" Rose (Paul) Huckins passed away peacefully on Friday, October 20, 2017 after a long illness at Mountain Ridge Center with her family by her side through her final days.
Pat was born August 19, 1936 in Laconia the daughter of the late Henry James and Ernestine Faris Paul.
Pat was known for her brutal honesty and sense of humor. She was also known for her baking skills; best cinnamon roll ever. Pat loved dancing and bingo with her best friend the late Carol Cartier, life was never the same after she left. Pat loved her children and family right until the end and will be greatly missed by the family. Things will never be the same.
Pat is survived by her brothers Robert Paul and his wife, Marilyn, Richard Paul and his wife, Carol; sisters, Carol Morin and her husband George and Shirley Plourde and sister-in-law Joann Paul. Her children Deborah Wood, Tammy Rawson and her husband Chris and Jeffery Huckins and his wife, Tami. Nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Pat is predeceased by her brother, Raymond Paul; and brother-in-law, Richard Plourde.
A calling hour will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 11:00am to 12:00 noon at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau -Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH using the Carriage House entrance.
A graveside service will follow at the family lot in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Laconia.
