Elizabeth W. (Thompson) Colsch, 89, died at the Braemoor Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Brockton on Thursday, October 13 after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Frederick J. Colsch, Sr. Born in Hyde Park, she was a graduate of Hyde Park High School. Mrs. Colsch lived in Stoughton since 1958. She was a ticketer at Bradlee’s Warehouse in Braintree for over 10 years before retiring in 1980. She was a member of the Local 25 in Boston. In her free time she enjoyed drawing, painting, crocheting and playing cards.
Mrs. Colsch is survived by her son, Frederick J. Colsch, Jr. of Stoughton. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her brother, William Thompson and her sisters, Mary Jerome and Bertha Knapp.
Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday, October 17 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours prior from 9-10 AM. Interment will be private. Donations in Elizabeth’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, 01701.
