Obituary

John L. Sullivan, 70, of Londonderry, NH, died Wednesday, October 12, 2005 at the Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH. Mr. Sullivan was born in E. Derry, NH on September 17, 1935, a son of the late Patrick J. and Hilda M. (Pinkham) Sullivan. He was a resident of Londonderry since 1964, formerly living in E. Derry. Mr. Sullivan was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy in Derry, Class of 1953. He served in the US Navy from 1954 – 1958. He retired from the NH Insurance Co. in Manchester after more than 40 years. Mr. Sullivan was a communicant of St. Jude Parish in Londonderry and enjoyed spending time with his family and at his camp in Maine.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Huquette R. (Bolduc) Sullivan of Londonderry, three sons, Patrick Sullivan and his wife Joyce of Manchester, Michael Sullivan and his wife Mary of Goffstown, NH, Mark Sullivan and his wife Jamie of Manchester, eight grandchildren, one brother, Donald Gagne of E. Derry, many nieces, nephews and many good friends.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Saturday, October 15, 2005 at 11:00am in St. Jude Parish, 435 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry, with cremation to follow. Friends may call on Friday from 5 – 9pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. Private burial will be at a later date in Holy Cross Cemetery, Londonderry. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pinkerton Academy Alumni Assoc., C/O Alumni Office, 5 Pinkerton St., Derry, NH 03038.
