Obituary

Tilton---Gregory John Hebert 59, of Laconia Road died Friday, October 13,2017 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon. He was surrounded by his loving family.

Greg was born October 28, 1957 in Manchester, New Hampshire. He was the first of five children born to Robert and Lucy (Fortier) Hebert. Quickly followed, ten minutes later, by his brother Steve, his fraternal twin. Mark was their next child, born sixteen months later. Then came the girls, Sherri and Melissa.

The family moved from Derry to Laconia when Greg was young and in grade school. He attended, Laconia schools and graduated from Laconia High School in 1976.

Greg enlisted and served in the United States Air Force. Upon returning home to Laconia, he was employed as a machinist at New Hampshire Ball Bearing for many years. Currently employed at AKA, in Belmont.

Greg enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his son and grandchildren. Fishing was one of his great passions, which he shared with his family and friends throughout the year. Cold or Hot didn’t matter, he was fishing.

Greg frequently spent time with his friends at Shooters, in Belmont. Who in a sense became part of his family. He would enjoy sports events, and special occasions there with his Shooter family.

Gregory is survived by his son, Brian Hebert and his wife Nicole, of Belmont. Four grandchildren, Lucas and Jameson Hebert, Jaedon and Sage Vega. A brother, Steve Hebert and his fiancée, Julie Ballou of Tilton; two sisters Sherri and Earl Leonard of Kentucky; Melissa and Dave Jenkins of Laconia; and a sister in law, Marylou Leach of Franklin, and several nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Robert and Lucy Hebert, and his brother,Mark Hebert.

Calling hours will be Saturday October 21, 2017 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette funeral home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH using the Carriage House entrance.

A celebration of his life will follow from 1:00pm-4:00pm at the Beane Conference Center, 35 Blueberry Lane Laconia, NH.
A private burial will be held in Sacred Heart Cemetery in the family lot.
