William P. Dobbie Sr. age 65 of Centerville, MA, died Tuesday at the Cape Cod Hospital, Barnstable, MA.
He was born in Lawrence, MA, grew up and was educated in Andover, MA, where he graduated from Andover High School in 1959. Mr. Dobbie was a resident of Centerville, MA for the past 5 years, formerly of Derry, NH.
Mr. Dobbie was a retired Police Officer for the City of Lawrence, Massachusetts. He was a US Army Veteran, serving in the Vietnam War, where he was a Marksman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, dancing and gardening.
He was pre deceased by a Brother Richard Dobbie
He is survived by his wife: Sharon M. (Grady) Dobbie of Centerville, MA
1 Son: William P. Jr. & his Wife Jane Dobbie of Exeter, NH
1 Daughter: Heather L. & her Husband Steve Clough of Cape Coral, FL
5 Grandchildren: Justin & Evan Dobbie, James LaFlamme, Nicholas & Brandon Clough
Calling hours will be held Friday, October 14, 2005 from 4-7 PM , followed by a funeral service at 7 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH
