Obituary

James B. Harris, 70 of Malden formerly of Medford died Monday at home after a brief illness.

Born in Arlington, he was the son of the late Fred and Mary (Bevans) Harris.

He served in the U. S. Army as a Corporal during the Korean War from 1951 to 1954.

James retired in 1997 as a Foreman, from Avon Corrugated where he had worked for 30 years.Mr. Harris was a late member of the Cambridge VFW Post 3273.

Beloved husband of Jean (McKenize). Devoted father of James and Scott Harris both of Malden, Linda Bucci, Lisa Williams, Steven Harris all of West Peabody, Jeff and Jay Harris both of Methuen. Also survived by 11 loving grandchildren. Brother of Paul and Nella Harris of New Hampshire, Jim and Pat Sullivan of Wilmington. Brother in law of Billy and Mary McKenize and Dorothy McKenzie all of Medford.

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Friday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, 55 Winthrop St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Visiting hours Wednesday 7 - 9 and Thursday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.

Late U. S. Army veteran of Korean War.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent in James’s name to the Hallmark Health Hospice, 100 Hospital Rd., Malden, MA 02148.
