Obituary

DUNN- Of Saugus, formerly of Chelsea, October 12th, Joseph H. Devoted husband of Bernice (Williams). Beloved father of John Dunn of Topsfield, Bernice Orlandello of Revere, James Dunn of North Ft. Myers, FL, Patrick Dunn of Weston, FL, Timothy Dunn of North Ft. Meyers, FL, Ann Quinlan of Saugus and the late Joseph, Grace and Christine Dunn. Dear and loving brother of John Dunn of Peabody, William Dunn of Reading, Helen Magee of Ipswich, Mary Keefe of Chelsea, Dorothy Wilson of Weymouth, Christine Dunn of Weymouth, June Antle of Weare, NH and the late Alice Lombard, Agnes Moreschi and Edward "Pat" Dunn. Also lovingly survived by 22 grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, CHELSEA on Saturday morning, October 15 at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Rose Church, 600 Broadway, CHELSEA at 9 o'clock. Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Friday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.

A lifelong resident of Chelsea, Joe passed away at home early Wednesday morning following a short illness. A veteran of the United States Navy during World War II, he worked as a caustodian and stationary fireman for the City of Chelsea School System for over 27 years. A member of the Cary Square Associates he was also a original member and founder of the Chelsea American Legion.
