Obituary

BRIDGEWATER - Christopher M. "Phil" Phillips, 38 , of Bridgewater, died unexpectedly Saturday, Oct. 8, 2005.

Born Feb. 3, 1967, in Boston, he was the loving son of Michael C. and Carole A. (Blow) Phillips of Bridgewater.

A lifelong resident of Bridgewater, Mr. Phillips was a graduate of Bristol-Plymouth High School, Class of 1985, and attended Bristol Community College and Bridgewater State College.

He was employed by Nabisco Co., out of Smithfield, R.I., and volunteered for St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry.

Mr. Phillips was a sports fan.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings,Laurie A. Phillips-Cox and her husband Bryan of Raynham, Donna M. Figler and her husband David of Berlin and Major Michael E. Phillips and his wife Kerry of Waldorf, Md.; his nieces and nephews, Zachary, Jonathon, Gregory and Joshua Cox, Cailee and Sophia Figler, Colin and Ashlynn Phillips; loving nephew of Cathleen Blow-Ahearn and Timothy Ahearn of Berkley. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and friends.

His funeral will be from the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. (Rte. 18), Bridgewater, Wednesday at 8 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass in St. Thomas Aquinas Church at 9 a.m. Visiting hours are Tuesday 4-8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery.
