Somerset – Lucie (Boudria) Benoit Goulet, 80, of Westport died after a brief illness October 10, 2005 at Clifton Rehabilitative Nursing Center. She was the wife of Gilbert A. Goulet and widow of Eugene P. Benoit.
Mrs. Goulet was born in Fall River, daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Posey) Boudria, and resided in Westport for the past 50 years. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport. She was employed by Raytheon in both Dighton and Mansfield for a total of 24 years until her retirement in 1985. She was a member of the International Exchange Club of Westport High School, Our Lady of Grace Church Council of Catholic Women’s Guild and Our Lady of Grace Church Senior Citizens Group; Past President of Our Lady of Grace Couples Club; organized and was Past President of the Westport Little League Woman’s Auxiliary; served on the Finance Board in the Town of Westport; was active in local civic and social activities; enjoyed dancing, traveling, sewing and cooking; and was an avid Bingo player.
In addition to her widower, she is survived by a son: Paul A. Benoit of Swansea; 4 daughters: Janice D. Benoit of Rehoboth, Suzanne Y. Chevalier of Harland, MI, Louise S. Willis of Eagle River, AK and Jeanne J. Goulet of Pawtucket, RI; a brother: Armand Boudria of Westport; 6 grandchildren: Kimberly C. Ferrara of Somerset, Mark P. Benoit of Manchester, CT, David M. Chevalier of Derry, NH, Julie B. Chevalier of Tiverton, RI, Lea A. Chevalier of Portage, MI and Lorraine M. Willis of Eagle River, AK; 3 great-grandchildren: Madison Ferrera of Somerset, Allesandra Ferrera of Somerset and Ethan Chevalier of Derry, NH; and several nieces & nephews.
She was sister of the late Anita Monfils, Rose Gerard, Edward Boudria, Roger Boudria, Roland Boudria and Joseph Boudria.

Funeral from the POTTER FUNERAL HOME, 81 Reed Road, Westport on Thursday, October 13, 2005 at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport at 10:00 A.M.
Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
