Jeannette B. Graveline, 92, of Manchester, NH, died Friday, October 7, 2005 in the Mt. Carmel Healthcare Center in Manchester. Mrs. Graveline was born in Brockton, MA on April 10, 1913, a daughter of the late George and Rosanna (Simard) Graveline. Prior to living in Manchester, she was a resident of Londonderry, NH and Chester, NH. She was a former member of St. Jude Parish in Londonderry where she had been a member of the Ladies Guild. She was also a member of St. Theresa's Church in Manchester. Mrs. Graveline had been employed by J.F. McElwaine Co. for many years, and later managed a small dairy farm in Londonderry with her family. After retiring, she and her husband traveled extensively and enjoyed ballroom dancing. Her gentle, lighthearted nature was an inspiration to everyone she met.
She is survived by two sons, Gerald Graveline of Auburn, NH, Ralph Graveline of Londonderry, two daughters, Lorraine Shaw of Houlton, ME, Helynne Wenz of Merrimack, NH, four grandchildren, one great granddaughter, five brothers, Maurice Dupere of Goffstown, NH, Ben Dupere of Santa Maria, CA, Armand Dupere of Derry, NH, Roger Dupere of CA, Girard Dupere of MA, three sisters, Claire Searles of Londonderry, Rita Gosselin of Manchester, Theresa Douville of Manchester, many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph A. Graveline who died in 1991.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation, a Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Wednesday, October 12th at 10:00am at St. Jude Parish, 435 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry handled the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Carmel Healthcare Center, 235 Myrtle St., Manchester, NH 03104.
