Elizabeth (Liz) (Pereira) (Netopski) Pitkat, 56 of Cranston, RI passed away on Aug. 31, 2017 surrounded by her loving family and friends. Born on Jan. 11, 1961 in Springfield, MA. She was a graduate of STCC and Elms College. Liz was a strong, loving, and determined woman. She was a spectacular mother/grandmother and friend. Her smile, wit, and advice will be greatly missed. Her mechanical abilities, crafting creativity, and amazing meals will be remembered. She was also proud of her Portuguese heritage. Liz was blessed with two beautiful children with whom she was proud of. Her daughter Shannon Dion of Chicopee, MA and her son Paul Netopski of Ashland, MA. She also leaves behind her two beautiful loving grandchildren Kaelyn and Kamden Dion. She also leaves her sisters Kathleen Kozak Pereira and Denise Murray. She also leaves behind Richard Pitkat. Calling Hours will be held on Sat, Sept. 9, 2017 from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Grise funeral Home 280 Springfield St. Chicopee with a Prayer Service to take place at 1 PM.
