Laconia------Claire I. Carrier 77, 0f Blueberry Lane died Sunday, September 3, 2017 at Lakes Region General Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Claire was born November 13, 1939 in Laconia, daughter to the late Alfred and Clara (Levasseur) Ouellette. She was a homemaker and an administrator for Laconia State School for over 10 years, worked in banking and retail sales.
Claire enjoyed downhill skiing, especially at Gunstock Mountain and she was an avid reader. Above all she loved being a mother and adored spending time wither her family and friends.
Claire is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Richard Carrier of Laconia; a son, Stephen Carrier of Houston, TX; a daughter, Sandra Taylor and her husband,Steven of Exeter, NH; four grandchildren, Jack Carrier of New York City, and Abigail Carrier of Washington DC, Peter Taylor and Lauren Taylor, both of Exeter, NH; a sister, Rachel Morgan of Hudson, MA; two sisters-in-law, LaVon Ouellette of Bay Town, TX and Dorothea Ouellette of Laconia and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her brothers, Raymond, Laurent "Larry" and Harvey "Dee" Ouellette and a brother-in-law, David Morgan.
There will be no calling hours.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 11:00am at St. Andre Bessette Parish - Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Avenue, Laconia, NH.
Burial will follow in the family plot at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Laconia.
