Pierina Bernetich, 85, of Londonderry, NH died October 4, 2005 at Harborside Healthcare Center in Bedford, NH. She was born in Trieste, Italy on November 13, 1919,a daughter of Valentino and Antonia Vegliack. She was raised in Italy and came to the United States in1956 with her husband and son. They settled in East Boston, MA and later moved to Brighton, MA. Following her husband’s retirement they moved to Clermont, FL and relocated to Londonderry a year and a half ago.
Mrs. Bernetich was a devoted mother and grandmother who took great joy in cooking and sewing.
She was the beloved wife of 64 years of Guerrino Bernetich of Londonderry, loving mother of Victor Bernetich and his wife, Rachelle of Londonderry, loving grandmother of Michele Ninteau and her husband David, Michael Bernetich and his wife Joanne, loving great grandmother of Billy, Lauren and Craig Ninteau and Zachary and Emily Bernetich. She was pre-deceased by her sister, Anita Preloz and her brother, Romano Vegliack.
A calling hour was held in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry on Saturday, October 8th from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10:00am in St. Jude Parish, 435 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. Burial followed in Holy Cross Cemetery, Londonderry.
