Obituary


Vincent J. Paris, a lifelong resident of Woburn passed away unexpectedly at his home on August 26, 2017. He was 66 years of age. Born in Winchester he was the son of the late Guy L. and Jeanne C. (Callahan) Paris.

Vinny, as he was known to his family and friends, attended Woburn schools and at a young age enlisted in the United States Marine Corp and honorably served his country during the Vietnam War. Upon returning home from the service he began working as a laborer in the construction field and ended his career as a truck driver for the J.E. Farmer Company of Billerica. Vinny will fondly be remembered by those who knew him as a kind and thoughtful person.

In addition to his late parents, Vinny is predeceased by his sister, Marsha Paris - Maher. He is survived by his brothers, Paul, Steven and Richard Paris. He is further survived by his nieces and nephews; Mark Paris, Julie Paris, Michelle Hall, Joseph Paris, Bridget Kamas and Patrick Maher.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to gather for calling hours at the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., Woburn, Friday, September 1st, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. followed by a funeral service and military honors starting at 12 p.m. Interment services will be private. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Vinny’s memory to the Friends of Woburn Veterans, 144 School St., Woburn, MA 01801
