WORCESTER-Frank N. DeMarco, 81 of 103 Olean Street died Wednesday November 14th in The Hospice Residence, 10 Judith Road. He leaves his wife of 45 years Phyllis (Snyder) Olsen DeMarco; a stepson and daughter-in-law Donald R. and Beverly Olsen of Uncasville, CT; a brother Mario DeMarco of Worcester, 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. His brother Gerardo DeMarco and sister Sally Volpe predeceased him.
He was born in Worcester son of Luigi and Antonetta (Bertoni) DeMarco and had lived here all his life. He was a graduate of Commerce High School. Mr. DeMarco was a World War 2 Army veteran serving with the 7th Infantry Division. He had been employed as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for 25 years he retired in 1975. Mr. DeMarco was a member of Christ the King Church and the Numismatic Club.
The funeral will be held Monday November 19th at 10:00 AM in Christ the King Church, 1052 Pleasant Street. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours.
