Mrs. Rita Rose (Esile) Martone, a resident of Methuen, formerly of Andover and beloved wife of the late Dino J. Martone, passed away at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill on Tuesday morning, August 15, 2017. She was 79 years old.
Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, on August 13, 1938, she was the beloved daughter of the late Rosario and Rose (Senia) Esile. Mrs. Martone enjoyed playing piano, singing, painting, drawing, crocheting and knitting. Above all, she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed.
Rita is survived by her loving children; Deborah L. Holt of Methuen, Deana R. and her wife Kaitlyn J. Boyd-Martone of Hillsboro, New Hampshire and Dino John Martone and his wife Soo Lee-Martone of Acton, devoted sister; Rose Rita Esile of Byfield, grandchildren; Ashley Holt, Amanda and Jacqueline Martone and Rowan Boyd-Martone as well as several nieces and nephews. Rita was also the sister of the late Francesco and Joseph Esile.
Calling hours will be held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover on Thursday, August 17, 2017, from 4 to 8 PM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend.
