Obituary

WEBSTER – Anne J. (Hudec) Strenk, 84, of 4 Tower Street, died Sunday, Oct. 2, in Hubbard
Regional Hospital. Her husband of 45 years, Chester S. Strenk, died in 1987.

She leaves a daughter, Patricia A. and her husband Leonard J. Hast, with whom she lived; a brother, John Hudec of Webster; 4 sisters, Agatha Werstak of Webster, Veronica Jolicoeur and Rose Gaumond, both of Southbridge, and Stella Borawski of Fort Pierce, FL; a grandson, David M. Hast of North Brookfield; a great grandson Jordan; nieces and nephews. A sister, Margaret Kruger, predeceased her.

She was born in Webster, a daughter of Gaspar and Veronica (Kasik) Hudec and was a lifelong resident. She attended Bartlett High School.

Mrs. Strenk worked at Anglo Fabrics Company for many years before retiring in 1986. She was a membr of St. Joseph Basilica, its Holy Rosary Sodality, Sacred Heart Society, St. Anne Society, and the St. Joseph Polish Women’s Club. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her great grandson.

The funeral will be held Wednesday, October 5, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home,
340 School St., with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb St. Burial will be in St. Joseph Garden of Peace. Calling hours are from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday, October 4, at the funeral home. Donations may be made to St. Joseph School Immediate Educational Needs Fund, 53 Whitcomb St., Webster, MA 01570
