Vasilike (Sakorafas) Stachokas, 85, of Manchester, NH died October 2, 2005 at a local healthcare facility after a short illness.
She was born in Manchester on May 1, 1920, the daughter of George and Despo (Toucholitis) Sakorafas.
She loved knitting, crocheting, and being with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed shopping and playing bingo and card games.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, William Stachokas. She was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
Members of her family include her son, George Stachokas of Candia; one daughter, Ann Lagasse of Bedford, NH; four grandchildren; a great-grandchild; three sisters, Sophie Parks of Tucson, AZ, Sandra Fay of Manchester, and Effie Sakorafas of Manchester; several nephews, nieces, and cousins.
The funeral was held on October 4, 2005 in Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., Manchester. Burial followed in Pine Grove Cemetery, Manchester.
