Charles L. Dooley, 75, of Coteville Road, Londonderry, NH died Thursday June 6, 2002 at the Parkland Medical Center, Derry following a brief illness. He was born in Derry, NH on September 8, 1926, a son of the late Charles J. and Mary (Corliss) Dooley. He was a lifelong resident of Londonderry. Mr. Dooley was a US Army Veteran serving during World War II. He was employed by the Benjamin Chase Co. in Derry for 40 years. He also worked for Andrew Wilson Co. in Lawrence, MA for 10 years. He enjoyed Sports, reading, and watching television.
He is survived by his wife Alberta L. (Kimball) Dooley, of Londonderry, two sons, James Dooley, of Manchester, Frederick Dooley, of Londonderry, three daughters, Lorraine Fallon, of Manchester, Barbara Murray, of Derry, Martha Lundquist, of Kingston, six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one sister, Lillian Warren, of Merrimack, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother Ralph Corliss.
There will be no calling hours. Following cremation, graveside services will be held Monday June 10th at 1:30 at the Pleasant View Cemetery, Mammoth Road, Londonderry. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, NH Affiliate, 20 Merrimack Street, Suite 1, Manchester, NH 03101-2244 or the VA Hospital, 718 Smyth Road, Manchester, NH 03104. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is handling the arrangements.
