Beverly - Lorraine M. Wells, 71, of Beverly, died at the Addison Gilbert Hospital, Gloucester on Saturday, October 1, 2005 after a long illness.
Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Leon and Katherine (St. Germaine) Chagnon.
She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, was a frequent bingo player at Saint John's of Beverly and an avid Red Sox's fan.
Mrs. Wells was employed at Parker Bros in Salem for ten years and was a bartender at the former Polish Falcons, Salem for many years. She was an associate member of the Herman A. Spear Post #331 American Legion in Beverly and the Polish Falcons, Nest #188 in Salem
She is survived by 1 son Robert Wells and former daughter-in-law Denise Wells of Beverly; 3 daughters Debbie Kelleher-Taeger and husband Wayne of Peabody, Kathy Coburn and husband Craig of Maine, Patti Jemery and husband Wayne of Florida. 15 Grand Children and 6 Great Grand Children and 2 brothers Richard Chagnon of Melrose, Leo Chagnon of Florida, 1 sister Agnes (Sis) Hunt of Florida and several nieces and nephews. She was the former wife of the late Thomas H. Wells and sister of the late Arthur Chagnon.
Visiting hours will be Tuesday, October 4, 2005 from 12 to 2 pm, followed by a funeral service at 2 pm at the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem.
