Obituary

Norman A. Caron, MD. departed this earth to be with Our Lord on July 30, 2017 from pancreatic
cancer.
He was born on June 8, 1940 the son of Lionel A. and Eva F. (Larochelle) Caron.
He loved life and fully tried to develop his God given talents. He began his life in search of
knowledge at Bishop Bradley High School and St. Anselm College, earning a Masters degree in Zoology at
Boston University, subsequently pursuing a career in Medicine and surgery.
He studied at the University of Lausanne in Switzerland and did his internship and residency
programs at NY Medical College in New York City.
He practiced his art in Goffstown NH and CMC Hospital, further developing his career with Laser and Laparoscopic techniques. Retiring from surgery he continued to practice Geriatrics in various nursing homes and was a skilled clinical instructor for his many students.
He remained politically incorrect and wore it as a badge of honor in his later years.
As a tribute to his curiosities, he became a Single engine land pilot and also a certified scuba
diver, not to mention the attraction he had for sports cars.
His intellectual pursuits continued with his large library of Historical and Philosophical works.
On the side he became a very good gardener and shared the produce with his many friends and neighbors.
Most recently he had enrolled in the UNH Seashore Docent program and was looking forward
that endeavor, when the Lord called him Home.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 55 years, Mary-Jane (Sage) who helped him in his every endeavor to become the best he could be. Also his 2 sons, Glenn of Raymond NH and his wife Ann, and Wayne of Manchester with whom he shared many of his journeys. He also leaves 2 grandsons, Nicholas (Samantha) and Jacob (Kayla) of whom he was exceptionally proud, his greatgrandchildren, Mattix, Trenton, Evangeline, Felicity, Adelaide, Julien, and his soon to be born sister, as well as his many cousins, nieces and nephews. Because of his shared love of God's creatures and the joy they brought him throughout his life and his later years, especially his beloved Taz, and most recently his loving friend, Pearl pussycat, he requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Manchester Animal shelter, 490 Dunbarton Rd. Manchester, NH 03102.
