B. Iris Woodward, 93, of Brentwood, NH, went home to Heaven to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, September 29, 2005 in the Rockingham County Nursing Home in Brentwood. Iris was born in Orange, NH on July 27, 1912, a daughter of the late Harry and Bernice (Langley) Ford. She was a resident of Brentwood for the past eight years, formerly living in Derry, NH for over 60 years. She had been employed as a nurses aide at the State Hospital in Concord, NH. Iris was a Good News Bible Teacher for many years and a Sunday School Teacher. She had also been a Bible Teacher at the Light of the World Camp in Wilmot, NH and at A New Beginning Camp in Epping, NH.
She is survived by three sons, Donald Woodward of Merrimack, NH, William Woodward of Epping, Roger Woodward of Manchester, NH, one daughter, Nancy Currier of Whitefield, NH, 16 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, ten great great grandchildren, two sisters, Lois Jordan of Concord, Shirley Duquette of Loudon, NH, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard M. Woodward who died in 1970, and her grandson, Eric Woodward who died in 1990.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 16th from 2 - 5pm at the Rockingham County Nursing Home auditorium.
