Obituary


Worcester – Donald L. Baillargeon Sr., 71, of Worcester died on Friday Sept. 30 in the Meadows of Leicester after an illness.

Mr. Baillargeon’s wife of 40 years Theresa B. (Snyder) Baillargeon died in March. He is survived by; five children Mark S. Baillargeon of Millbury, Donald L. Baillargeon Jr. and his wife Michelle of Rochdale, Theresa Sargent and her husband Brian of Worcester and, Mitchell Baillargeon and his wife Diane of Charlton, and Michael Baillargeon and his wife Kelly of Northbridge; two brothers Clarence Baillargeon and Ovila Baillargeon both of Worcester; 9 grandchildren Timothy, Joshua, Chelsea, Kassandra, Katlin, Seth, Brianna, Felicia, and Jessica; and several nephews and nieces. Mr. Baillargeon is predeceased by a grandson D.J. and 10 brothers and one sister.

He was born in Worcester son of Joseph and Palma (Russi) Baillargeon. Mr. Baillargeon is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.

Mr. Baillargeon worked as a bus driver for many years with Gulbankian’s and retired from Edinborough Bus Company.
The funeral will be held on Monday October 3 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home (www.Royfuneral.com) 12 Hammond St. with a mass at 10 AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 600 Cambridge St. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are on Sunday October 2 in the funeral home from 1 to 3 PM. Flowers may be sent or donations may be made to the American Heart Association 20 Speen Street Framingham, MA 01701.
