WORCESTER___Helen E. (Lebelunas) Gillus, 90, of Dorchester St., died Wednesday Sept. 28 in her home. Her husband of 36 years, George Gillus died in 1977.
She leaves a daughter, Linda Gillus Meservey of Worcester; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, George J. Gillus and a daughter, Kathleen J. Gillus. She was born in Scranton, PA., daughter of Francis and Amilia (Grozdziute) Lebelunas and has lived here for 75 years.
Mrs. Gillus was a dry cleaning store clerk several years on Grafton Hill. Helen graduated from Commerce High School. She was a 75 year member of St. Casimir Church and was a member of Council 26 Knights of Lithuania.
The funeral will be held on Saturday Oct. 1, from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Casimir Church, 41 Providence St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will be held Saturday Oct. 1 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Members of Council 26 Knights of Lithuania will meet at 9:00 a.m. during the calling hour to conduct their ritual.
