FALL RIVER – Rose (Amorin) Camara, age 92, and a lifelong resident of Fall River, passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at the Clifton Rehabilitative Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Daniel Camara and the daughter of the late Louis Amorin and the late Maria (Barreiro) Benevides, previously Amorin. Prior to retiring, Rose worked as a machine operator for Ideal Bias Binding Co. and was a parishioner of St. Joseph’s Church.
She was the devoted mother of Daniel J. Camara of Swansea and Nancy Correia of Fall River; adored grandmother of Lori LePage, Lisa Camara, Pamela Pacheco, & Scott Camara; great grandmother of 6; daughter in law of Judith Santore of Seekonk; aunt to several nieces & nephews. She was the grandmother of the late Jason Camara and the sister of the late Constance Duarte.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Saturday with visitation from 8-9:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph’s Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River. www.rogersfuneral.com.
