Emma Mae Allen Harmon,69, died at North MS Medical Center in Tupelo, MS on September 28, 2005.
Born and raised in Water Valley, she was the daughter of Lloyd and Mary Agree Ponder Allen. Emma Mae was a member of the First Baptist Church of Water Valley. She worked at Simmons Department Store in Water Valley and also at The Mechanics Savings Bank for years. Being a homemaker, wife and mother brought the most joy to her life.
Visitation will be held at Seven Oaks Funeral Home on Thursday, September 29, 2005 at 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be Friday September 30, 2005 at Seven Oaks Funeral Home at 10:00 AM with Rev. Hal Clark officiating. Pallbearers are: Kenny Harmon, Willie Pullen, Brad Allen, Jerry Wilbourn, Gary Jackson and Tom Byars. Interment will be in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include: her husband, Gerald Harmon of Water Valley: two sons, Kevin Harmon of Water Valley and Stacy Harmon of Oxford, MS: sister Faye Allen Bateman of Water Valley, MS and two brothers: Charles D. Allen of Pope, MS and Richard E. Allen of Oxford, MS. She also leaves two grandchildren, Noah Luke Harmon and Sarah Lindsey Harmon.
