Claude Brian Lague, 38, of New Bedford died Monday September 26, 2005 unexpectedly at home.
Born in New Bedford, the son of Georgia (Xiarhos) Conley, and her husband Thomas, of Dunnellon, Fla., and the late Roland Lague, he had lived in New Bedford for most of his life.
Mr. Lague was employed as a commercial fisherman out of the Port of New Bedford.
He enjoyed playing baseball and going fishing, and loved rock and roll music.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather; his companion, Melissa DaSilva of New Bedford; his former wife, Ana (DePina) Lague of Dartmouth; four sons, Claude Brian Lague, Jr., Sean Eric Lague and Chad Thomas Lague, all of Dartmouth, and Maximus Claude Lague of New Bedford; three daughters, Cloe Botelho, Ella Botelho and Kelsea Hurd, all of New Bedford ; a brother, Steven ; two sisters, Emily and Robin; his grandmother, Mildred Xiarhos of New Bedford; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was the grandson of the late Peter Xiarhos.
His Funeral Service will be held on Friday September 30, 2005 at 9 AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park Street, New Bedford. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Thursday September 29, 2005 from 6-9 PM.
