Fairhaven – Norbert Martin, age 93 of North Dartmouth, passed away on Monday, June 26, 2017 at Alden Court Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Fairhaven. He was the beloved husband of the late Albina (Brito) Martin and the son of the late Mary (Sousa) and Joseph Martin.
Mr. Martin was born in New Bedford, MA and worked as a Fireman at the New Bedford Commonwealth Gas and Electric Company until his retirement.
His family includes his children; Noel Martin and his wife, Lisa of New Bedford, Norbert Martin and his wife, Cheryl of Acushnet, Wayne Martin and his wife, Delia of Freetown, Michael Martin and his wife, Debra of Westport and Cynthia Martin of New Bedford; 8 Grandchildren; 19 Great Grandchildren. He was also the brother of the late Albert and Jimmy Martin.
His funeral services were private.
Arrangements are placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford.
