Linda W. Pope, 63, of Irwin County, Georgia, formerly of Albany, died Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at her residence.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M., Thursday, September 29, 2005, at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Irwin County, with Rev. John Gibbs, Jr., officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9, Wednesday evening at the funeral home in Ocilla.
Miss Pope was born October 26, 1941, in Turner County, Georgia, to the late Thurmon D. and Alma Wynn Pope. She was a 1960 graduate of Irwin County High School and attended Valdosta Business School. Miss Pope retired from the National Linen Service in Albany. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Irwin County.
Miss Pope is survived by a brother: Bobby Carrol Pope of Ocilla; nieces & their husbands: Carole Anne & Bobby Rowe of Ocilla and Caron & Edward Cushman of Thomson; great nieces and nephews: Chandler, Landon and Isabella Rowe, Lilly and Jesse Cushman.
