Mark A. Caswell, 48, of Lesley Circle, Derry, NH died Wednesday, June 5, 2002 at his home following a brief illness. He was born in Newburyport, Mass. on October 25, 1953, a son of George and Marion (Parsons) Caswell. He was a resident of Derry for the past six years, formerly living in Williamsburg, Va. Mr. Caswell was self- employed as a carpenter, owning and operating Overall Remodeling Co. in Derry. He was a US Navy veteran serving during the Vietnam era. He was currently the Senior Vice Commander Elect of District #4 of the American Legion, and was a member and past commander of the American Legion Post #9 in Derry. He was a lifetime member of the AMVETS. He was currently the CHEF-DE-GARE of the 40 & 8 Voiture #70. Mr. Caswell was an avid pool player.
Besides his parents of Yorktown, Va., he is survived by his wife, Virginia J. (Sharp) Caswell of Derry, two sons, Jimmy Risley, Jeremy Risley both of Derry, and two brothers, John Caswell of Herndon, Va., Paul Caswell of Yorktown, Va.,
Committal services will be held on Monday, June 10th, at 11:00 at the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen. Friends may call at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry on Sunday, June 9th from 1 – 4.
