WORCESTER-Arthur K. Stone of 51 Butler St. died Monday, Sept. 26 at home after an illness.
He leaves his longtime companion, Ann M. Waters of Worcester; a daughter, Donna and her husband Rocco Lisacki of Woburn; his sister-in-law, Mary Stone of Reading, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. His son, Kenneth and his brother, Lawrence Stone predeceased him.
He was born and raised in Cambridge son of Cecil and Veronica (Rowe) Stone. He was a WW II Navy veteran and served on board the USS Vincennes. Arthur was employed by Riverside Press and retired from Cambridge City Hospital.
The funeral will be Friday, Sept. 30 from the LINDQUIST LUNDIN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Butler St. with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in St. Catherine of Sweden Church, 1 Wiser Ave. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. A calling hour will be from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. on the morning of the funeral. The family would like to thank the staff of the Visiting Nurses Association.
