In Dighton June 27, 2017 Eleanor “Ellie” (Stone) Romano wife of the late Jerry Romano died peacefully at Dighton Nursing Center at the age of 76. Born in Kentucky, Ellie was the daughter of the late Mack and Dot (Blackston) Stone. She was a graduate of Mishawaka High School class of 1958. She was retired from Bose Co. for over twenty six years. Ellie was known for her smile, she would light up a room when she walked into it. Ellie was the mother of Jen Gallego and her husband Joe of Dighton, Terri Walsh and her wife Danni of Marlborough, Kathy Herrington of Florida and Jim Walsh of Indiana. Amazing grandmother to Jack and Lucy and as well to David, Brian and Jenny. Sister of Debbie Antonucci of Indiana. Services for Ellie will be private.
