Obituary

TAMPA, FL.-Wallie N. Williams, 70 of Tudor Place, formerly of Pocassett Avenue, Worcester died Thursday, November 8th in University County Hospital, Tampa after an illness. His wife Jean (Ferguson) Williams died in 1998. He leaves 4 sons Wallie Williams, Jr. of Worcester, Delroy L. Williams of Brandon, FL; Kenneth R. Williams of Berlin, NH, Clifford Williams of Manhattan, NY; a daughter Patricia A. Lopez of Worcester; a brother Joseph Williams of Tampa, FL; 3 stepsons Gary Cramer of Antonio, TX, Mark Cramer of NJ, Doug Cramer of Lakeland, FL; a stepdaughter, Debbie Garretson of Lakeland, FL; many grandchildren, stepgrandchildren; and many nephews and nieces.

He was born in Worcester son of James H. and Margaret (Hayes) Williams and lived most of his life in Worcester before moving to Florida. He was a Korean War veteran serving in the Navy. Mr. Williams was a truck driver for Sweetlife Foods for several years before retiring.

A graveside service will be held Friday November 16th at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no calling hours. O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue is directing arrangements.
