Mattie Bell (Bowen) Perry, 97, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Parkway Medical Center. Born in Taylorsville, she was self-employed domestic homeworker and Baptist by faith.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Lee Perry; one sister; and two brothers.
She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Perry; son, Leslie L. Perry; five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and six great great –grandchildren.
Her funeral will be 1pm Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway; with burial at Green Meadow Cemetery.
Visitation will be 11 am till funeral time at 1pm on Tuesday.
