Linda J. Currey, 54, of Ashburn, Georgia, died Wednesday, September 21, 2005, at Tift Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, September 23, 2005 at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel, Fitzgerald, with Rev. Lamar Lee officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 7 until 9 at the funeral home.
Ms. Currey was born August 23, 1951, in Fort Collins, Colorado, to the late Charles M. and Mavis Crandall Currey. She had recently moved to Ashburn from Cordele, where she was a member of the First Assembly of God. Ms. Currey was a retired childcare provider.
Survivors: two daughters: Rhonda Currey and Rebecca Currey Ethridge, both of Ashburn; 2 grandchildren; two brothers: Robert Currey of Fitzgerald and Charles Currey of South Lake Tahoe, CA; two sisters: June Rodgers of Fitzgerald and Sue Currey of Ashburn.
