John "Wade" Hartsfield, 59, of Tifton passed away Friday, May 26, 2017, at Tift Regional Medical Center. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 29, 2017, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Hubert Smith officiating. Mr. Hartsfield will be laid to rest at Tift Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday, May 29, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Born July 13, 1957 in Albany, Mr. Hartsfield was the son of the late William Arthur Hartsfield, Jr and Mary Frances Folsom Hartsfield. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Bobby Lee Hartsfield. He was retired from Carolina Skiff in Waycross and attended Calvary Baptist Church in Tifton.
Mr. Hartsfield is survived by one brother, Wayne Hartsfield of Tifton; two sisters, Mary Ann Smith of Norman Park and Lynn Floyd of Hartford, Alabama; and numerous nieces and nephews.
