Albert B. Ceven, 76, died at his home in Stoughton on Tuesday, September 20 under the care of Hospice after a long illness. He was the husband of Anita B. (Curran) Ceven. Born in Nova Scotia, Canada, he was a resident of Stoughton since 1966. Mr. Ceven was a WWII Veteran of the US Navy. He worked as a contractor in the area for many years. He was a member of the Rising Star Masonic Lodge in Stoughton. In his free time he enjoyed woodworking.
In addition to his wife, he leaves his children: Paul F. Ceven of Brockton, Anita L. Ceven-Leonard of Byfield, Albert J. Ceven of E. Taunton, Robert J. Ceven of Wrentham, James T. Ceven of Dighton and Barbara J. Cloney of Quincy. He was the son of Grace (Pudsey) Ceven of Canton and the late Albert J. Ceven. He also leaves his brother, Paul P. Ceven of Stoughton. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
Visiting Hours will be held at the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday from 5-8 PM. Services will be private. Donations in Al’s name may be made to the charity of your own choice.
