WORCESTER___Joseph A. Ducharme, 83, of 40 Belmont St., died Monday Sept. 19 in the Odd Fellows Home, 104 Randolph Rd. His wife of 55 years, Bella L. (Wickson) Ducharme died March 20, 2000.
He leaves a son, Robert L. Ducharme and his wife Geraldine of Charlton; four grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester, son of Joseph A.L. and Eva (Birtz) Ducharme and lived here all his life.
Mr. Ducharme was a licensed practical nurse at Memorial Hospital many years. He retired several years ago. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He was a former member of St. Joseph’s Church and Our Lady of Fatima Church. Mr. Ducharme loved to fish.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday Sept. 21 from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St., with a Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Church, 35 Hamilton St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
