Robert Keith "Butch" Payne, 62, of Ty Ty passed away Friday, May 12, 2017, at Tift Regional Medical Center. The family will receive friends Monday, May 15, 2017, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. A private burial will be held for Mr. Payne at a later date.
Born March 29, 1955 in Tift County, Mr. Payne was the son of the late Frank Payne and Mittie Baker Payne. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Payne and Bennie Payne; and three sisters, Barbara Sue Archer, Betty Crumbley and Bonnie Mae. He was formerly employed as an assistant at Payne Electric Company in Tifton.
Mr. Payne is survived by one son and his wife, Blake and Markie Payne of Ty Ty and Blake's mother, Wanda Payne; two brothers, Bruce Payne of Tifton and Bobby Payne of Texas; and a special friend and niece, Donna Fitzgerald.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial gifts may be made to a favorite charity.
