Elizabeth A. (Kirwan) Glynn, a life-long Medford resident, died Wednesday after a long illness at the Courtyard Nursing Care Center. She was 83.
The daughter of the late Thomas J. and Alice E. (Creedon) Kirwan, Elizabeth was a dedicated wife and mother, who enjoyed the company of a large extended family especially in the summer at the family home at Eastham on Cape Cod.
She was the beloved wife of the late Robert E. Glynn. She was a devoted mother to Kenneth Thomas Glynn of Medford and the late Robert E. Glynn, Jr. She was a loving aunt of the late Maureen Elizabeth (McCarthy) Jenkins. She was a dear sister to Thomas D. Kirwan of Medford, the late Dorothy McCarthy and John C. Kirwan. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Monday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
