Mystic- Louise K. Rossie, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2005 at the Westerly Hospital.
Louise was born February 2, 1916, the daughter of the late John and Louise (Schmidt) Rossie. She was the last remaining member of the Rossie family who founded the Rossie Velvet Company on Greenmanville Ave. in Mystic CT.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday September 20, 2005 at St. Patrick Church in Mystic at 11:00am. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery in Old Mystic. There will be no procession from the funeral Home. There are no calling hours.
