OBITUARY


WEBSTER – Frank N. Piechocki, 91, formerly of Whitcomb St., died Tuesday, Sept. 13, in Webster Manor. His wife of 56 years, Veronica T. “Vera” (Stapor) Piechocki, died in 2003.

He leaves a sister, Rose Neslusan of Webster; nephews and nieces. His son, Rev. Francis J. Piechocki of Gardner, died in 1994. He was predeceased by 3 sisters, Lillian Tucker, Mary Stefaniak and Stasia Dexter, and by 2 brothers, Joseph and Peter Piechocki.

He was born in Webster, the son of Michael and Anna (Karolewski) Piechocki, and lived here most of his life. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Mr. Piechocki was a spinner at Anglo Fabrics Company for many years, retiring in 1982. He had been a spinner at Packard Mills and at a mill in Northbridge. After retirement, he was the bell ringer at his church.He was a member of St. Joseph Basilica and the Webster-Dudley American Legion Post #184.

The funeral, with military honors, will be held Saturday, Sept. 17, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., with a Mass at 10:30 AM in St. Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb St. Burial will be in St. Joseph Garden of Peace. A calling period will be from 9:00 to 10:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home. Donations may be made to St. Joseph School
