Maria Monteiro (64) of Brockton died April 19th in the Boston Medical Center.
She was born in Cova-Figuiera, Fogo, Cape Verde daughter of the late Adelino and Italia Monteiro. Maria loved to bake and cook for all her family and friends.
She is survived by 4 sons, Joao Monteiro Marcelino of Brockton, Arsenio and Manuel Monteiro, Rui Fernandes all of Cabo Verde, a daughter Angela Monteiro of Fogo, 1 sister Tuia, 5 brothers, Arsenio, Frank, Guilherme, Virgilho and Nene also many grandchildren.
Funeral Services in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel 238 Court Street Brockton Monday April 24th at 9 am. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery. Visitation Sunday April 23rd from 4-8 pm.
