Devoted mother of Robert Ritchie of Shrewsbury, MA and Scottsdale, AZ, John Ritchie and his wife Rose Anne of Northbridge, MA., Kenneth Ritchie and his wife Maryjane of Brockton, Karen McMenamy and and her husband Larry of Duxbury, David Ritchie and his partner Darlene McGrath of Plymouth, Ma., Nancy Ritchie of Brockton, Janet Herman and her husband Joseph of Goffstown, N.H., Brian Cannon and his wife Susan of Amherst, NH., Russell Cannon and his wife Linda of Merrimack, NH. Loving sister of Gwendolyn Fernberg of No. Attleboro, Raymond McCormack of Brockton, John McCormack of Mansfield, Sheila MacLean of Deerfield Beach, FL, Brendan McCormack of Conway, SC, Bruce McCormack of Middleboro. She is predeceased by her sisters Shirley Maraget and Beverly Cullity. Her memory will be cherished by her 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. She loved her family and friends and she loved life. She woke up each day with a song in her heart and often shared it with the world. She loved the spotlight and it loved her, a fan of musicals she often brought down the house with rousing renditions of Yankee Doodle Dandy and A Good Man is Hard to Find. She was an avid Boston sports fan and took great joy in the Red Sox finally winning the World Series.
Funeral from the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St., Route 139, MARSHFIELD, MA., Friday Sept. 16 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Holy Family Church, Rte.3A, Duxbury, Ma.
